2025 Para Badminton Falcons

Para Badminton first appeared at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 and has since continued to thrive. The Para Falcons include Australia’s leading para-badminton athletes, who work with our coaches and athlete support networks to achieve success nationally and internationally against the world’s best players.

Through support from the ASC, Paralympics Australia and Badminton Oceania, players receive Individual Performance Plans (IPP), funding support and access to other performance support services.  Athletes in the Para Falcons program also have access to National and International training camps, with the opportunity to experience an elite training environment and team culture. This exposure supports our aim of expanding the para-badminton program to enable more players to perform on the world stage. All athletes are categorised under the National Athlete Categorisation Framework as an international athlete. Players are selected based on the Para Selection Policy available here.
