BADMINTON AUSTRALIA LIMITED
– NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING​

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Badminton Australia Limited will be held in person on Sunday 23 November 2025 at 11am AEDT at the Acacia Room, Quay Centre, Sydney Olympic Park.

  1. AGENDA – Any notices of motion under the Constitution and bylaws to be included in the Agenda must be received in writing to the CEO at Tjitte.Weistra@badminton.org.au no later than midday on Wednesday 29 October 2025 on the prescribed form.
  2. BUSINESS – The business of the AGM shall be to:
    • (i) Confirm the minutes of the 2024 AGM
    • (ii) Receive the 2024/2025 Annual Report of the Board and the audited financial statements, and present the coming year’s budget
    • (iii) Elect Directors as required
    • (iv) Appoint the auditors for the 2025/2026 financial year
    • (v) Consider any special business including any Constitution changes as recommended by the Board
    • (vi) Attend to any general business items
  3. ELECTIONS – There are three (3) elected Director positions to be filled at this AGM for 2-year term appointments. Please visit the 2025 AGM page on the BA website for more information and to access the Board Director Position Description which includes information around the preferred skills the board is seeking and the Board Director Nomination Form.
  4. VOTING – Only a designated voting delegate from each of the State/Territory Members is able to vote.  Any other person member type can register to attend the AGM as an observer.
  5. QUESTIONS FROM VOTING and LIFE MEMBERS – Questions from voting and life members are welcome and must be submitted in writing to the Chief Executive Officer at least seven days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
  6.     An Agenda, Annual Report, and papers will be available to voting and eligible members no later than  3 November 2025.
