Badminton Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Gillian Montgomery as the new National Integrity Manager.

Gillian brings a wealth of experience in investigations and regulatory compliance, with a career spanning law enforcement, state and federal government roles, and private sector investigative services. She holds specialist qualifications in forensic interviewing, government investigation and negotiation.

Most recently, Gillian managed complex and sensitive regulatory investigations in early childhood education at the Department of Education. Her career also includes other investigative roles at the Commission for Children and Young People, the Department of Health, and more than a decade of service with the Police Force in Scotland.

“I’m invested in building cultures of safety and accountability,” Gillian said.

“My focus is on supporting athletes and the broader badminton community by ensuring our environments are safe, inclusive, and underpinned by integrity at every level.”
