Badminton Australia is seeking expressions of interest from players to represent Australia at the BWF Asia Pacific AirBadminton Championships 2025, taking place from 8–10 August in Malaysia. Badminton Australia has funding available to support a team of minimum 3 males and 3 females and maximum 4 males and 4 females and one coach/manager. The Championships feature two events: the Team Relay and Men’s & Women’s Triples. This is a unique opportunity to represent Australia on the international stage and potentially qualify for the BWF AirBadminton World Cup in Dubai later this year in November. To be eligible, athletes must be at least 18 years old, hold a current Badminton Australia ranking, be in good standing with their State or Territory body, and meet the criteria outlined in the selection guidelines. Applications close on 15 June 2025.
